Step away from the noise of everyday life and into the peace and tranquility of nature supported by a community of like-minded women. The main focus of the Retreat is to reconnect with your body and nature while renewing your relationship to yourself. The schedule includes a blend of Yin (quiet, de-stressing, long-held floor postures) and Yang (an energetic flow of postures) style yoga practices, meditation, guided self-inquiry, facilitated circles and time to hangout.  You will step back into your life with a greater sense of wellbeing and perspective; feeling grounded, stronger, connected and purposeful. Join us for an experience that you won’t soon forget! Open to all levels of yoga experience (18yrs+).

The Retreat Features:
 
  • Daily morning and late afternoon guided movement/yoga, meditation and journaling
  • One evening activity
  • Quiet, remote setting in the mountains, by the ocean, or by a lake

Reconnecting Body, Mind and Life:  Five Day Retreat

Join us in this powerful experiential program about reconnecting with self and changing your life. You’ll explore your self and your relationship with the world around you through gentle yoga, mindfulness practices, self-inquiry techniques and dialogue. Through expanded and deeper body awareness you’ll discover new ways of feeling and being in relationship to self and the world, as well as the means to integrate this deep personal change back into your life. 

The program is broken down into five daily themes. Each day includes an Opening Circle, guided gentle yoga and sensory awareness activities, self-inquiry exercises, dyad sharing, facilitated dialogue and personal time for reflection. There will be a morning and late afternoon session each day, a couple of evening sessions and one-all day facilitated silent retreat.  No yoga or meditation experience of any kind is required to participate in this program. 

This experiential program of presence, awareness and transformation is based on the techniques and insights of a specialized, reflective self-healing modality called Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. Phoenix Rising is based on the premise that most of our fundamental attitudes in life have their physical counterparts in the body and that your body can reveal a great deal of hidden wisdom about who you are. We will also explore the concept of an "ecological self" which experiences a connection to all things, as well as Yin Yoga.

Cancellation Policy: Up to 2 weeks before the Retreat you may receive a full refund minus a 15% processing fee. After that, no refunds are given unless your spot can be filled from the waiting list after minimum registration is met.
