Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy offers a
unique approach for exploring the connection and integration of one's
body, mind and life. PYRT combines yoga postures with
non-directive dialogue techniques to bring awareness to deep holding
patterns that are located in the body and unconsciously control one's
life. Expansion of awareness at all levels
allows for the development of key insight into one's capacity and
motivation for real and lasting change.
After receiving sessions from a qualified Phoenix
Rising practitioner many clients report improved physical well being,
greater emotional stability, clearer thinking, easier and deeper
breathing and a capacity for living
life to the fullest.
Because of it's emphasis on bringing us back to our
whole self, Phoenix Rising is an excellent way to enrich your spiritual path,
whatever form that may take.
A 90-Minute Facilitated
Session
The Phoenix Rising practitioner uses assisted movement and fully
supported yoga postures to heighten physical sensation in the body. Through
non-directive dialogue techniques, the client is coached to hold
and explore the connection between physical sensations, thoughts and
emotions at their chosen pace and depth. Sessions
conclude with a guided integration of one's awareness and insight on all
levels to create new ways of feeling and being in their life.
This can be exceptionally empowering and healing.
Clients remain
fully clothed in a non-judgemental and safe space for self-exploration
and reflection. No yoga or meditation experience is required to
fully experience a session.
Who are Phoenix Rising Clients?
Individual clients may simply
want a body-centred opportunity for personal enrichment, as a way to
cope with stress-related illness or pain, or to seek clarity around core
life issues. Body workers may refer people to explore verbally what
comes up for them during their sessions so it can be integrated more
fully. A physiotherapist may refer clients to explore the connection
between their injuries and their minds and emotions. Psychotherapists may refer clients who have become stuck
or need to explore the emotions and memories embodied in physical
experiences.
This work is very powerful so you
may experience benefits from only one session. Whether you choose
weekly or monthly sessions, or simply check in for a session every now and
again, you will appreciate the effects a Phoenix Rising
Yoga Therapy session has on you and your life.
